SKIN REPUBLIC Charcoal Peel-Off Face Mask
This mineral-rich activated charcoal peel-off face mask combines the purifying benefits of charcoal with the deep cleansing properties of a peel-off mask for a radiant, clear complexion.
How to use
Apply an even layer to clean, dry skin, avoiding the eye area, eyebrows, hairline and lips. Once the mask is completely dry, carefully peel off from the outer edges. Wash off any residue with water. Follow with moisturizer or a Skin Republic face mask sheet.
Warning: These masks are seriously exfoliating. Please carry out a patch test to check skin sensitivity. Apply a thin layer and avoid sensitive areas such as around the eyes, eyebrows, hairline and mouth.
Main ingredients
Charcoal
An excellent skin cleanser, charcoal draws dirt, oil and bacteria out of the skin's pores. Activated charcoal is so effective that it has been proven to adsorb 200 times its own weight.
Green tea
Green tea extract is naturally rich in antioxidants that protect the body from free radicals. Green tea has also been shown to rejuvenate old skin cells that are at the end of their life cycle, with the added benefit of having anti-inflammatory properties.
Lemon Extract
Acts as a natural exfoliant as it contains citric acid which helps to remove dead skin cells, reduce the appearance of dark spots and pigmentation. The antibacterial and antifungal properties of lemon make it effective in the treatment of acne.
Grape extract
The antioxidants contained in grapes protect the skin from the damaging effects of free radicals and help prevent premature ageing. Grapes contain vitamin C, which is known for its excellent skin whitening abilities. Vitamin C is also necessary to produce collagen, which helps the skin maintain its elasticity and youthful fullness.
